Viking Mekong delivers intimate, elegant river cruising along Asia's storied Mekong with the comfort of a floating hotel. Launched in 2012 for a refined guest experience, this 60-guest ship blends Scandinavian-inspired design with thoughtful local touches, while its Swiss-trained crew provides service that is attentive, warm, and genuinely eager to make your journey memorable. The ship's best features include a bright dining room offering refined regional cuisine and optional al fresco dining on the deck, expansive views from every cabin, and a compact four-deck layout that makes each sail feel approachable and intimate. Onboard activities are designed to enrich your voyage: chef-led cooking demonstrations and regional tastings, engaging lectures on Mekong history and culture, cultural performances, and hands-on workshops that explore local crafts. Every voyage combines enriching onboard programming with carefully curated shore excursions to bustling markets, tranquil temples, and riverside villages, guided by expert local guides who bring the region to life. Please note that Viking Mekong uses EU 2 Pin 220v outlets and adapters are not provided, so travelers should bring compatible plugs to stay powered as you marvel at the emerald riverbanks.
