Viking Honir, launched in 2025, is a 5,000 GT vessel designed to merge mythic inspiration with modern cruise comfort. At 135 meters in length and 29 meters in beam, she carries up to 190 guests in 95 cabins, served by a crew of 53 across four decks. The ship's design nods to Honir, the wise Norse god credited with the gift of óðr—poetic inspiration and intellect—infusing every voyage with thoughtful detail: from an inviting panorama lounge to an expansive observation deck ideal for stargazing. Onboard activities celebrate wisdom and wonder: storytelling sessions that weave Norse myth with contemporary voyage narratives; hands-on Viking crafts; culinary explorations in a Nordic-inspired galley; and talks that illuminate navigation, shipbuilding, and exploration history. Guests can unwind in a Nordic spa-inspired wellness area, browse a maritime library, and enjoy performances in the ship’s theater. Practical amenities include both US 110v and EU 220v electrical sockets, with adapters not provided, so travelers should plan accordingly.
