Viking Gersemi, launched in 2020, is a compact yet elegant ship designed to feel intimate and comfortable with up to 190 guests. At 135 meters long and 5,000 gross tons, she pairs Viking’s renowned Scandinavian design with a sense of refined warmth. Inside, 95 cabins across four decks offer bright, airy spaces with thoughtful storage and contemporary comforts, while a 50-strong crew ensures attentive, personalized service. The ship’s best features include a spacious observation lounge with panoramic views, a sun deck ideal for al fresco dining and scenery, and a wellness-focused layout that places a Nordic spa, fitness center, and tranquil relaxation areas at the heart of the voyage. Onboard activities span cultural enrichment and hands-on experiences: enlightening talks on Norse history and regional culture, culinary demonstrations and chef’s table experiences, wine tastings, and guest lectures that illuminate each destination. Guests can join guided shore excursions arranged from the ship, unwind with a book in the ship’s library, or savor regional flavors in thoughtfully designed dining venues. To ensure seamless travel, EU 2 Pin 220V electrical plugs are standard, with adapters provided for guests who need them. Aquavit Terrace
Revolutionary in concept and design, this spacious outdoor seating area at the bow of the ship is perfect for having a casual meal al fresco, meeting friends for drinks or reading a book, all while enjoying breathtaking views and basking in the fresh air.
Sun Deck & Sky Bar
Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. The sun deck is adjacent to the Sky Bar and there is an access way to the bridge.
The Bar
Located in the Lounge, the bar is lively and inviting - a gathering place for guests to view the scenery, have a drink and catch up on the day with friends.
Library
Located in the heart of the Upper deck adjacent to the Aquavit Terrace, the library has comfortable seating and excellent reading light. Our ships’ libraries carry approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Pick up a magazine or board game and enjoy it in the lounge just steps away.
