Viking Eldir, launched in 2025, is a 135-meter, 5,000-ton vessel carrying 190 guests in 95 cabins across four decks, with a 29-meter beam and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Its design blends Viking-era lore with modern comfort, echoing its namesake Eldir—the loyal fire-stoker of Ægir—through warm materials and service-focused spaces. Onboard, guests enjoy a curated program of enrichment experiences and gentle adventures: panoramic observation lounges for scenic sails, a refined dining venue showcasing regional flavors, and a schedule of destination-focused talks, hands-on demonstrations, and cultural activities. For shore days, a capable crew of 53 arranges immersive excursions and guided explorations to reveal local histories. Practical details include US 2-pin 110V and EU 2-pin 220V electrical plugs (adapters not provided), so travelers can keep devices charged while soaking in sea views from the four-deck layout. With 95 standard cabins across four decks, Eldir focuses on comfortable, cohesive spaces designed for social sailing and shared memories, while maintaining efficient service and intimate ambiance aboard the voyage.

For safety reasons, guest access to the Sun Deck is restricted during lock transits and when the ship is sailing under low bridges.
