Amadeus Provence, launched in 2017 and dedicated to the Rhône and Saône rivers, offers an intimate, boutique-style French river cruise experience. With a comfortable capacity of 140 guests and a dedicated crew of 40, this four-deck vessel blends elegant design with easy, convivial living. At 110 meters long and 11 meters wide, the ship feels like a floating hotel where every detail is designed to showcase Provence’s light and landscape. The décor uses soft pink and lavender accents to evoke Provençal skies, while panoramic windows invite the scenery inside—from yellow cottages with red-tiled roofs to lavender fields and green valleys gliding by. Onboard highlights include an infinity pool that seems to merge with the river, the Lido Bar for a sun-kissed cocktail, the River Terrace for al fresco relaxation, and a fitness studio for light workouts or a stroll on decks. Guests can also pamper themselves with a massage after a day of excursions to Avignon, Arles, and the Camargue. Practical comforts include EU 2-pin 220V electrical plugs (adapters not provided), ensuring easy charging of devices, and a language offering in German and English to welcome international travelers. In short, Amadeus Provence promises a refined, intimate French living experience on the water, where every moment is framed by the Provençal light and the river’s tranquil rhythm.

There is always a vegetarian option for all meals on board AMADEUS ships. Our chefs and restaurant staff do all they can to ensure that all other dietary requirements are met wherever possible. Such requirements of individual passengers can, however, only be fulfilled if service fulfilment for all passengers on board can also be ensured. In all cases, passengers are obliged to control the food which has been served to them in so far as it is possible. Passengers must inform us of any food intolerances or dietary requirements as soon as possible (at least 60 days prior to departure). If we are not informed in good time, passengers cannot expect their dietary requirements to be considered. We reserve the right to not permit a passenger on board if the fulfilment of their dietary requirements would pose too great a challenge for the on-board organisation.
