Ship Overview

Purpose-built in 2004 by the renowned Carey's Boatyard wooden boat-building family in Picton, this 18-passenger expedition yacht explores New Zealand's remote fiords, sounds, and coastlines with a distinctly local character.

The ship joined Heritage Expeditions in March 2021 and features bow thrusters, fin stabilizers, full air-conditioning, sound-attenuated generators, hydraulic aft ramp, and comprehensive navigation package.

All cabins include air conditioning, flat-screen TV with GPS plotter access, and PABX satellite telephone.

Dining and Public Spaces

The Dining Room features 180-degree panoramic views and theater capabilities, serving New Zealand-focused cuisine highlighting local produce—guests can have their catches prepared by the talented chef. The Lounge and Bar offers inclusive regional New Zealand wines, beers, and spirits.

Two excursion tenders enable deeper exploration of hidden coves. Kayaks and fishing equipment are available for guest use. A New Zealand captain, crew, and expedition team deliver an intimate, personalized experience with open bridge policy.
